Atlantic City Seafood Festival
Description: The City of Atlantic City and CRDA are excited to announce the return of the Atlantic City Seafood Festival. This two day extravaganza of fun, food, and entertainment celebrating the treasures of the Atlantic Ocean while highlighting the East Coast’s favorite sea side city. Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th on Bader Field in Atlantic City New Jersey. For the 3rd consecutive year the Atlantic City Seafood Festival play host to over 50 restaurants and culinary personalities. This annual event gives attendees the opportunity to experience some of Atlantic City and regional restaurants while, getting to know some of the chef personalities creating these savory dishes. And they are all in one location. The festival is free to attend all weekend long. Attendees are encouraged to arrive hungry!

Apple Day at Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery
Description: Fresh apple pies, juicy roast pork, fresh apple cider and apple cider donuts will be available as well as a wine tasting during Apple Day at Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery, Princeton. Some family-friendly farm activities include wagon and pony rides, face painting, pumpkin painting, make your own scarecrow and more. Pick-Your-Own and a corn stalk maze will be available and a Daisy Jug Band will provide musical entertainment. 10 to 5 PM; $5 admission to festival, $5 for tastings.

Delicious Orchards Apple Festival
Description: 2014 marks the seventh annual Apple Fest for Delicious Orchards. They will be hosting this festival September 13th and 14th in Colts Neck New Jersey where attendees can take part in numerous activities. People are welcome to roam the car show where over forty antique cars will be on display. There will be free apples given to those who want them because, after all, apples are the highlight of the day. For small children there will be carnival-like games, animals to watch, a clown and more. All day vendors will be giving out free samples, live music will be playing, and there will even be an ice cream stand where apple flavored ice cream will be given out!

Train Ride and NJ Wine Tasting
Description: Enjoy a train ride through beautiful New Jersey on the State’s only operating steam locomotive. The train will take passengers throughout the local area where they can look out the windows and enjoy the picturesque scenery of the Delaware River while simultaneously taking in the peace and relaxation of being aboard a locomotive. At the end of the line the passengers will be let off the train to which they will then take a short ride on a bus where their destination will be a local winery named Villa Milagro. At the winery, guests will be taught the basics of wine making, be given a few tastes of wine and be able to ask question. This event is $35 per person with a departure time of 11 am.

New Jersey Tour de Farm
Description: Tour de Farms is an enjoyable bicycle ride throughout the farmland of Northwest New Jersey. Nature and food lovers will enjoy this bicycle ride because along the trail there will be stops where everyone can break from riding and enjoy some tastes of local farms. There will be some breakfast food available at some farms where the farmers pride themselves on the gourmet quality meals their products can produce. After the bike ride is complete and all riders return to the meeting location, a spread of healthy post-ride hors d'Oeuvres will be served. This bicycle ride lasts from 8 am until 5 pm and costs $20 per person.

Description: The Foodshed Alliance is a grassroots non-profit devoted to promoting sustainable farming and locally grown fresh, healthy foods in New Jersey. This year's event will be all about wine, food, and farming. There will be cooking demonstrations, cook book authors, wine book authors, and celebrity chefs from PBS and the Food Network.
