Description: Balic of Clinton Wine & Gifts will be hosting “Me & My Mango Recipe Contest” on Sunday, August 10th from 1-3 pm.  Entries of specialty drinks, appetizers, salsa/sauces, entrees and desserts featuring Mango will be available for sampling and judging on Sunday.

Jersey Shore Chef Crab Cake Cook-Off
Description: Join us Saturday and Sunday from noon - 5 pm for this annual Shore event. Shore Chefs compete for the best crab cake award and the coveted People's Choice Award in the Crab Cake Cook-Off. Taste fare from your favorite local restaurants. Crab cakes, fried catfish, and lobster rolls are just a few of the favorites that will be back for 2014. Live music will be provided by Kelso Clubhouse.

Vintage North Jersey Wine and Food Festival
Description: Vintage North Jersey, a collaboration of northern New Jersey wineries, announces its first Wine & Food Festival to be held at one of the oldest north Jersey wineries –Four Sisters Winery. Take a ride out through beautiful northern New Jersey and experience some of their fine wines, local flavors and local bands at one centrally located venue. Sample New Jersey wines from Sussex to Mercer County, all at one central location.
Wineries will be paired with local specialty food selections, some of which are produced on the vineyards themselves. Wineries include Ventimiglia Vineyards, Cava Vineyard and Winery, Brook Hollow Winery, Villa Milagro Vineyards, Beneduce Vineyards, Old York Cellars, Unionville Vineyards, Hopewell Valley Vineyards and Terhune Orchard Vineyards and Winery.
Enjoy food and craft vendors, bands and more.
Gates open at 12 noon through 5 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for the event are $20 at the gate and include tasting and a complimentary wine glass. Tickets for non-drinkers and children ages 12-20 are $15 and children under age 12 are free.

Great Tomato Tasting
Description: Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station and Rutgers Cooperative Extension proudly announce the Annual Snyder Farm Open House and Great Tomato Tasting. The event includes the very popular tasting of over 80 heirloom and hybrid varieties of  tomatoes. Other highlights include tasting of apples and peaches from the NJAES Tree Fruit Breeding Program along with varieties of basil and honey. The Melda C. Snyder Garden will showcase demonstration gardens of deer tolerant ornamentals; blueberries, hazelnuts, and hollies from the Rutgers breeding programs; examples of proper tomato plant culture; and a wall of fruit highlighting apple trees for the home landscape. Wagon tours of the farm's research plots will be held throughout the event. Chef demonstrations, salsa tastings, turf labyrinth and educational displays from various organizations are also expected. Rutgers NJAES faculty and staff and Rutgers Master Gardener volunteers will be available to answer your gardening questions. Time: 3pm to 7:30pm.

Hoboken Spaghetti Dinner Block Party
Description: Mayor Dawn Zimmer and the City of Hoboken present Hoboken's Spaghetti Dinner Block Party. Tables are setup along the walkway on Sinatra Dr. to enjoy the beautiful Manhattan skyline view. It is one big outdoor community dinner party. 5 pm- 8 pm, Seating is limited, so buy tickets early.
Includes:  4 kinds of pasta, meatballs, sausage, eggplant, salad, bread & dessert. Wine, beer, water and soda available at additional cost and sold to raise funds for the Hoboken Ambulance Corp. Outside alcohol not permitted. Coolers will be checked at the entrance.
Live Music to be announced.

43rd Annual Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival
Description: 43rd annual Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival event with all day music, a variety of vendors, and more. Time: 10AM to 10PM, The Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival has been sponsored annually since 1972 on Labor Day Weekend by the Brandywine Friends of Old Time Music, a non-profit organization based in Delaware whose mission is the presentation and preservation of traditional American music.
