"A Measure of Grace" NJ Wine Dinner
Description: With a Measure of Grace is one of the best food books written this year. It chronicles Hell's Backbone Grill, an amazing restaurant in an unlikely place. Blake Spalding and Jenifer Castle opened Hell's Backbone Grill in Boulder, Utah, one of the most difficult-to-reach and sparsely populated places in America. Their book tells the story of the amazing local food they make and the amazing ways their restaurant works in a local community. Blake and Jen are as charming as they are talented. We'll cook dinner inspired from their recipes in the book and pair them with a selection of awesome American wines from our cellar. We're excited about the menu and the wine pairings, but we’re even more excited to have Blake and Jen here to work with us on the dinner and to talk about their book and their extraordinary experiences with you. Come break bread with them. Time: 7:00 pm - Cost: $125 per person plus tax and gratuity.

New Jersey was named by James, Duke of York (the brother of King Charles II of England), who was given New Jersey by his brother. James later gave New Jersey to Lord John Berkeley and Sir George Carteret. James named the colony New Jersey to honor Carteret, who had been the Governor of Jersey, a British island in the English Channel.
