Crawfish Festival
Description: Fresh boiled crawfish, jambalaya, shrimp creole, fried catfish, grilled alligator sausage make great music even better. Come out and dance to Zydeco, Cajun, New Orleans R&B, Delta Blues, Gospel and a little Funk thrown in from our main stage and in the 6,000 sq foot dance tent. 10pm to 7:00pm. $30.

Read & Pick Program: Strawberries
Description: Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines picking fruit with your young child and listening to a story highlighting the fruit. Parents and young children (ages preschool to 8 years) are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about strawberries. We will be reading two strawberries books, then everyone will pick his or her own pint of strawberries. The cost is $5.00 per child (under 2 free) and includes the pint of strawberries. Elaine Madigan, our education coordinator, will explain how strawberries grow and how they should be picked. Date: Tuesday, June 6 - 10:00am-11:00am.

Outdoor Barbeque Wine Tasting
Description: This month we selected 8 wines that go well with barbeque. This annual event is outdoors on our patio overlooking the serene Almonesson Lake at sunset. We tour the world with Australian Shiraz, Italian Barbera, Zinfandel, and German Riesling. We invite you to bring a group of friends to enjoy our barbeque with wine. 17th Annual New Jersey Fresh Seafood Festival
Description: New Jersey's finest seafood extravaganza, the 17th Annual Bank of America New Jersey Fresh Seafood Festival features fantastic family fun, including succulent seafood and landlubber fare, celebrity chef demonstrations, nonstop live music, midway rides and games, boat rides, interactive educational exhibits, a crafts and seashore sundries show, and more! One hundred percent of festival proceeds are donated to charity, with special support given to marine education programs and the New Jersey Artificial Reef. The festival is fully wheelchair accessible. Family-priced admission is $5 per adult, which includes one child. Additional children are $2. Festival hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. both days.

20th Anniversary Seafood Festival in Belmar
Description: The New Jersey Seafood Festival in Belmar combines a culinary celebration of seafood delights with a day of fun. This 20th Annual event will once again unite master chefs, fine artists and craftspeople, New Jersey's wineries, and musicians from around the state. The New Jersey Seafood Festival has been named as one of the top 100 events in North America. Approximately 100,000 visitors are expected to attend this year's festival, which will be held on June 10th and 11th.

Stillwater Strawberry Festival
Description: The Stillwater Strawberry Festival will take place on June 11, 2006 at the Museum. On that day members of the Historical Society will turn out to pick strawberries and prepare them in ways that will please the palate. Music will be provided and an air of conviviality will prevail as we celebrate springtimes earliest sweet harvest. There will be a bake sale, and a walk through historic Stillwater. There is an entry fee of $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children in the museum building on this day.
