NJ Beer & Food Festival
Description: The NJ Beer & Food Festival will be held at Grand Cascades Lodge, Crystal Springs Resort. On Friday, a four-course Sam Adams beer dinner will be held; 7:30 PM; $75. Saturday events include a Brews & Birdies golf event, a seminar and beer tasting, a beer festival, and a post-festival VIP party.

7th Annual New Jersey State Ice Cream Festival
Description: The Seventh Annual New Jersey State Ice Cream Festival will be held on Washington St, Toms River. 11:30 AM to 5 PM. Along with rides, street performers, crafters, vendors, food, and live entertainment there will be an ice cream tasting. Attendees can purchase tasting kits, for $5 in advance or $6 the day of the event, and then sample and vote on the ice cream entries in the Peoples Choice category. Tasting runs from noon to 3:30 PM.

Sustenance on the Farm Dinner at Griggstown Quail Farm
Description: On Sunday July 19, 2009, from 4-7PM the first in a series of Sustenance on the Farm Dinners will take place in the green field of Griggstown Quail Farm in Princeton, Southern Somerset County. Farmers George Rude and Matthew Sytsema will host and chef David C. Felton, former Executive Chef of The Pluckemin Inn will prepare a farm-to-table five-course dinner with a spectacular array of food sourced from Griggstown Quail Farm. This sustainable meal will include food from artisans within a small radius of the farm and organic/biodynamic wines will be paired with each course. Local musicians perform enhancing the dining experience. Time: 4:00 PM-7:00 PM.

Terhune Orchards Read & Pick: Vegetables
Description: Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines a hands-on activity with your young child and listening to a story highlighting the fruit or vegetable. Parents and young children (ages preschool to 8 years) are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about vegetables. We will be reading the book: The Ugly Vegetable and Olivers Vegetables. Then everyone will pick his or her own small container of green beans. Our farm staff will explain how vegetables grow and how they should be picked. The cost is $7.00 per child participating and includes the container of green beans. Pre-registration is requested. Time: 9:30 am & 11 am.
